IPM and our sister company, IPMAS, continue to establish partners and relationships in Polk County, Florida. Our nearly 30 years in business has taught us that there is no better way to learn about a community than through the business owners. And we all know, the best place to engage with business owners is through a local chapter of the Chamber of Commerce. We are excited to be members and supporting sponsors of the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Polk County.
This chapter just might have the longest acronym of any Chamber in the US, PRHCCPC! Their chamber includes members in the small Hispanic and non-Hispanic business community in and around Polk County, Florida. They focus on access, education, networking, marketing and growth potential of the people that live and work in this vibrant part of Florida.
In February, we sponsored the 2019 Summit of Las American, a annual event that provides members with a day of learning and forums on topics important to their business. It was an engaging event, with speakers presenting on the emotional toll of entreprenuership, small business advocacy and how Latina women are meeting the workforce needs within Florida. As a Cooper Level sponsor, we were proud to help support a diverse and exciting panel of speakers. We look forward to more events with this active and diverse group of business leaders in Central Florida.
