IPM is proud to continue their support as a sponsor of “Go for the Greens,” an annual business development conference for women entrepreneurs held in September in Florida. This engaging conference, held since 2008, offers business matchmaking for conference attendees with top corporations, government agencies and nonprofits. In addition to educational programing and social networking events, this conference offers a unique opportunity to expose business women, primarily entrepreneurs, to golf. Getting out of the conference room and onto the golf course is a great way to build relationships and create long standing business opportunities. IPM will again sponsor the attendee luncheon that is part of the golf tournament.
The conference organizers understand that golf can be intimidating for people that haven’t played much and structure their event to appeal to all levels of golf ability. In 2014, IPM COO Steve Young had the privilege of having a visiting LPGA pro on his team. They won the whole event and came away with Go for the Green’s own version of the traditional “green jacket.”
IPM is a certified Women-Owned Businesses. This designation recognizes the importance of diversity in the workplace and the essential role Women-Owned Businesses can play in the marketplace when given the opportunity. The Go for the Greens conference supports those concepts and IPM is proud to be a sponsor of the event.
